The happy just keeps on coming

I've been a total downer lately... and today is no different! We're discussing how to help our children (of any age) deal with the death of a friend or family member over here. Come share your experiences and your expertise, if you have any.

There's more upbeat posts at the New England Mamas too. We're not all buzzkills. Though, I am. Yeah.

Um...

Hey, look over there!

(runs away to find the cookie dough.)

OK, Bossy's comment is quite possibly the funniest comment I have ever read.

Yeah, if Bossy's comment didn't cheer you up, I'm worried. Methinks you should start whistling. It's hard to be in a bad mood when you whistle.

You know what you need? A really cheesy 80's movie. What about that one where the chick pretends to be a guy to get a writing job?? "She's One of the Guys" Remember that one? I was so in love with her leather mini-skirt outfit.

Anyway, I'll bring the movie and the ice cream. You have some wine waiting. What? We can drink wine with ice cream if we want to.
