A treat, for sure

I cast a spell on you, baby.

It's kind of a crappy picture, but that's Chicky last night during her first ever Halloween/get as much candy as possible extravaganza. She was a witch. A bad witch. Her words, not mine.

I pulled myself up by my bootstraps and Mr. C and I took her first to a friend's house for pizza with a few other toddler friends and their parents and then out into the night for much trick or treating. The girl is a natural. If she had any reservations about going up to total strangers and begging them for candy she hid it nicely. And wait for her friends to catch up? Pssh. As soon as one house was done she was pulling me to the next one.

"More candy, Mama. Now! Come on!"

"We have to wait for your friends to catch up, hon."

"*Sigh* Fine. Friends! Come on! Catch up! Now!"

That's my girl.

What an adorable witch! I hope you got lots of good candy. I mean, hope she did. That is what I meant to say ;)

I don't know, she looks like a good witch to me. ;)

Oh, my ovaries. The girl thing again.

Incidentally, it hit hard at HRH's Halloween Parade at preschool. There was the PERFECT Dorothy there and I wanted to grab her and take her home.

Do you really have straps on your boots? Bossy wants a pair. Fer chrissake.

I love the tipping of the hat - she is definitely a very bad witch, super bad like her momma (and I mean that in the best way possible).

Very cute! So how much of it did you let her eat?

(warning: uber-treacle alert:) Looks as though you got your treat in the form of a delicious little witchy-poo girl.

yum.

(and, for the record, I apologize. I think it's related to all the candy corn I've been burying my face in, lately. it's coming out in my words. sigh.)

I have found that candy, preferably chocolate has helped do wonders for Fa....

OMG she is too adorable. I love her with the new, longer hair. And I'm realizing I hadn't seen a picture in a while - she is growing!

She's adorable!

Mine was Glinda the good witch. I was the bad witch accompaniment.

I am definitely under her spell. Could she BE any cuter! I hope she made out like a bandit.

Wow. She could be a Halloween model - so cute!

About 75 percent of the kids who came to my house were too shy or jaded to even say "trick or treat." I gave the ones who did double candy. Don't tell!

I find it hard to believe that she is a bad anything.

Meanwhile, I was thinking of you and hoping you were able to enjoy the candy yourself - I hear Butterfingers are magical on nausea.

OH she's the cutest "bad witch" EVER!

I agree with manic mommy, oh my ovaries. She is adorable. Every time I see a cute little girl, I can picture the daughter I never had in her. The bouncy blonde hair, the sparkling eyes, the whimsical way she carries herself.

Oh well, I'm blessed with two sons. At least I'm NOT the mom that dresses up her son's and tries to pass them off as girls...

yes I know someone who does that!

You have such a cute witch, I'm sure she isn't bad at all :)
Glad you were feeling well enough to go with her, I wouldn't have missed it if I was puking all the way if it was me (which by the way I'm very glad it's not me).
