And this is why I don't do crafts

Because Chicky and I set out to create something from a toilet paper roll and construction paper that was supposed to be a girl in a pink dress but ended up looking like a giant transvestite squid with technicolor boobs and a bad perm who was attacked by a rainbow pigeon.

But Chicky liked it. She took one look and sighed, "Mama, she looks so beautiful. Like an angel."

And that's what she referred to that abomination as - Mama's angel. Yep. The angel of cross-dressing cephalopods.

WOW - there are no words haha - I just can't stop staring at it, not sure if that's a good thing or bad LOL =)
You gotta love kids though, so sincere!

Are you telling me angels don't have technicolor boobs? Huh. Who knew.

Just you get ready...the crafts I had to do this weekend were beyond terrifying. If you've never turned a turkey into a bunny rabbit you just haven't lived.

My favourite part are her lips. Very cute!

She is, um, colourful. Just kidding. Good for you for doing the crafts -- I used to hide in the bathroom until Dad stepped up to the plate.

She kinda looks like Mrs. Garrett wearing a really expensive blue hat that Blair got for Mrs. G's birthday, then Tootie and Natalee end up shoplifting a pink skirt because it was more than their budget and it ended up being in the wrong size. And we all know what's going to happen when Mrs. Garrett tries to return it.

You know I had no words but after reading Motherbumper's comment I have to agree-Mrs. Garrett!

Bwahaha! It really does look like a transvestite squid. Great job. :)

As long as your daughter appreciates it, that's what is important. Motherbumper is right though, there is a creepy Mrs Garrett vibe to it. :o)

Here's the thing... she calls that beautiful. What or who else does she call beautiful, and what does it say about those things (people)?

I think I just snorted, but then one of those pom pom thingies got sucked into my brain. So I am currently stroking out via your craft, so thanks for that :)

It is precisely for that reason that I leave the crafts to the capable kids o' mine.

I've never seen a more beautiful angel of cross-dressing cephalopods.

Please tell me you're going to put that angel on the top of your Christmas Tree this year. That would make my day complete.

Something tells you could make a masterpiece with a glue gun, a tampon, a piece of twine and some glitter. ;-)

Ha!! But your description is so much better than the posh "Girl in Pink Skirt".
