Oh, you noticed that I haven't been writing that much too? Well, this is what happens when I sit down to write.
A sleeping baby - it's a powerful sedative.
(Yes, we're both really sleeping in this picture.)
(Yes, my husband thought we looked so sweet, he had to take a picture.)
(Yes, I was a little creeped out when I woke up and there was a camera on a tripod pointing at me.)
(Yes, this was the first occasion where I awoke to find a camera on a tripod pointing at me. I can't speak for other times when I was incapacitated.)
(Yes, I was revisiting a sweet moment between me and my child and I went to someplace seedy.)
(No, I can't help myself.)

aw...those moments are sweet. and that sleeping baby lovin is intoxicating!
It's a beautiful picture. Truly beautiful.
Am I a complete idiot for wondering how you managed to balance that laptop while asleep??? ;-)
I miss that!!! You and your baby are so beautiful, so peaceful and so restful in that picture. I wish you more moments like that.
Awwww
omg...what a gorgeous photo.
You two are love.
I can't blame him for setting up the tripod, that is an awfully sweet photo!
Awww. That is a great shot.
I'm impressed you look so nice while sleeping. I'd have a big wet spot on my shirt from my drool.
I can't go beyond, "Awwwwww!"
next time just bend your head slightly and kiss that sweet sweet head for me. K?
Oh this is TOO sweet! That looks like a lot more fun than writing anyway.
AAAAWWWWW. That is the cutest thing ever. Especially with the laptop balanced on your lap along with the baby. I would totally not be able to type like that.
You just keep on stealing those quiet moments. They're too precious to spend typing anyways...
That's totally sweet. I'm with Heather... if it was me, my mouth would be wide open and there would be a puddle of drool on my shirt. I'm not a photogenic sleeper, trust me.
I love it when they get all floppy and cuddl-y... and you'll appreciate having this picture.
I love that Mr. C went to all the trouble to set up the tripod and capture the image. It is such a sweet picture.
One question though. Can't he hold the camera? Or was Chicky teaching him proper photographic methods.
Really. I am completely stymied by this.
(Sorry. I have no life. I know.)
Aww.. That pictures is so great.
Avalon - It's dark in our living room and he didn't want to wake us with a flash so he put the camera on a tripod to keep it steady. Something about letting light in, aperture, shutter speed, or something else camera-ish that I learned in all my photography classes that I have now forgotten.
Mrs C~~~ Thanks for clearing it up. I would hate to have a mental image of Mr C as adorable but inept with photographic equipment.
And he is still very sweet for even considering capturing that moment. Many others would have taken the opportunity to crack a beer and steal the TV remote.
LOL at the comments in parenthesis... and "awww" at the picture... amazing how one little post from you can put a smile on my face and actually make my shitty day amazingly just vanish. thanks for that. :)
ah, sleep. take it where you can get it, right?
My, this looks familiar. Say, 3 this afternoon?
Well I would have made a hilarious comment, but you had to go and get all parenthesis-crazy on us and take all my good jokes. Fine--awwwwwww. Happy?
What a cute picture though! And you don't even have bed head.
Oh, I love those moments! Mine is 8 weeks old so we have a lot of those moments in this house, too.
That is precious! And I want to say it.. have to say it.. aawwwwwww!
Truly a photo to treasure. You know when she's 16 & mouthing off you can look at the picture and wonder what happened to that sweet baby. I know I do that now & my child is only 8 Yrs old!!
Thanks for sharing.
very sweet picture. If The Hubster takes pics of me sleeping with a kiddo, there usually ends up being 27 shots of my boobs from different angles
Very sweet. My husband used to fall asleep with our first child in the recliner just like this.
Poor kid #2 never got the luxury of alone time or peace and quiet.
That was my very favorite thing when mine were babies...somehow it's the best sleep...sigh...
It's an adorable picture. Waking up to a tripod might have scared me though.
That picture is priceless!
How precious!
You are going to be so happy you have that picture in a few years . . . it is beautiful.
