I'm forever blowing bubbles...

... Pretty bubbles in the air.

Chicky takes her bubbles very seriously. And I want to french kiss the person who thought to put soap in a bottle along with a wand to make the most simple - and yet the most addicting - pastime ever. Not just that, but it's something that I can do one handed. Score.

So to recap: Chicky is happy because she's doing something she loves, I'm happy because we're out of the house enjoying the sunshine, and C.C. is happy because she's not left alone in her swing while I try to cease Chicky's whining because she's booo-ooorrred and, Mama, put the baby down, put her down, put her doooo-ooowwnn. It's a win-win for everyone... Except for C.C.'s future therapist who would have been able to pay his kids' way through college solely on the poor girl's need to work out her abandonment issues at the hand of her older sister. Though I would explain to her one day that if there were no bubbles, time with a therapist would be much better than throwing money at a proctologist.

She has got to be one of the most adorable little girls I've ever seen! What a cute picture!

P.S. And bubbles ROCK!

You know, I'm pretty sure there is nothing bubbles can't do. They have saved my ass so many freaking times that I will be next in line to shove my tongue in someone's mouth.

Yep. Bubbles work. Also, the garden hose. Flowers get watered, E is wet and happy, and I can oversee with babe-in-arms. Put garden hose and bubbles together and you have nirvana and a very soapy backyard.

That photo is the best!

Also loving the person who made the no-spill (actually less-spill) bubble containers.

Bubbles are fun. We even use them in the bathtub sometimes... makes for a significantly less soaked parent during "play time".

Get the automatic bubble machine!! I have two and I love them. Keep the twins occupied for hours. Just buy plenty of the bubble stuff. With the little ones, look for tear-free bubbles. They work wonders and no crying!!

Bubbles are fantastic, along with sidewalk chalk, which can keep ours busy forever.

We even have a contraption that will blow the bubles for you so you don't get lightheaded! Sweet! (and it's lo-tech, and small. even better.)

So, so beautiful.

We love bubbles. Persistence earned the Dora bubble machine and is having a ball with it.

I think they wish I'd quit singing the bubble song though LOL.

Bubbles have saved my sanity many days too.

Around here, bubbles really are the true test of whether it's a real boo-boo, real crisis, or real anything. If you want some real magic (and even easier bubble blowing) go get yourself the Gymboree bubbles and the little blower (set comes together). Pour a tiny bit in the bottom of the tray, millions of gorgeous bubbles that last and last - even I am amazed by how magical they are!

We recently scored a bubble machine from the grandparents...best thing ever. A few batteries and at least 10 minutes of uninterupted bubble magic!

You know they never grow out of bubbles.

Even my teen girls love em.

Hmmm, might be an idea to add a little floor cleaning to our next kitchen mosh pit.

Isn't it great how kids bring us gently back to our selves...
Nothing like taking in the shape and colours of bubbles as they float up into the sky, or pop in midflight... Taking us on unexpected voyages of colour, light and flight...

Chicky is growing into a lovely little lady. So precious!

I love the inventor of post-it notes. Seriously, I'll give my kids a pack of those (particularly on an airplane) and they will spend a long time sticking and resticking them.

I'm wondering... do you think it would be poor in-flight etiquette to bring a tiny bottle of bubbles on a plane??
