    I am so sorry to read this, Tania. (delurking for this) It hurts a lot. We had to put our sweet girl to sleep a week ago. She was 14. We miss her. I'll be thinking of you and your family during this time. It sucks losing such an important part of your family.

    So sorry to read this - I saw this post show up in my RSS feeder and waited a week to read it until I had some privacy because I knew I'd start crying as soon as I read it...the lack of words didn't stop the tears at all. I've been there and it's heartbreaking...they really are the best friends.
