Chef Boy-ar-You-Cute

The French Chef. All she needed was an empty wine bottle. Bon App*hic*etit.

And her sister, the Great Cheeky Pumpkin.

I'm proud of Chicky. She decided way back in August what she wanted to be this Halloween.

"Mommy, I want to be a *mumble mumble*-ooker.

"A what?"

"A *mumble*-ooker.

"A hooker??"

"No, a COOKER."

"Oh, a cooker. You mean, a chef."

"Yeah, a chef. Like the ones we see on the television. The ones who cook the food."

"Okay, you can be a chef this year." Whew, dodged a bullet there.

"What's a hooker?"

  1. That's the cutest "cooker" I've ever seen.

Good luck next year - heh! :)

  2. Very cute!!! Is she making pumpkin pie???

I love all the chef costumes this year. My sister's 2yo boy was a chef this year...her 9mo baby girl was a lobster. They were trying to coach him to tell everyone he was making lobster bisque. LOL

  7. So she's a french cooker?

Could they be any cuter - no I didn't think so. So did you eat all their candy yet?

  8. One can cook and the other is edible. Great match!

  9. I used to make up stuff when my kids were little to get past those kinds of questions, but then I almost made the mistake of telling my daughter a "hooker" was another word for a fisherman. Can you imagine the plethora of awkward moments that would have arisen, living on Cape Cod?

  19. Soemone who hangs hooks? maybe someone who has hooks, like Cptn Hook? That would be a safe one - se'll probably never see that in real life except as a costume.
