Paris in training

I took the girls for a walk around the neighborhood the other day. Chicky insisted on bringing an old cell phone of mine and a stuffed dog in a cloth purse she received for her birthday from one of my well-meaning relatives. With those accessories and her over-sized sunglasses she drew a lot of interesting looks from our neighbors.

It's all cute now, but if she tries to leave the house without underwear I'm going to have to lay the smack down.

  2. A sense of style and panache. I do not see a problem here.

    Yet.

  3. She is adorable! But yeah, let's hope the big sunglasses and dog in the purse are the ONLY ways she ever acts like Paris Hilton!!

  5. I don't know if I envy you, or you'd envy me: my daughter attempts to breast feed her dolls on walks. And yes, it's pretty clear what she's doing to passersby.

  6. Yeah, the underwear-less phase is best if it is a very short phase, preferably in the dead of winter.

  7. You think you're kidding about the underwear. Call me when she does it.

  9. Pumpkpinpie would LOVE to travel with dog in purse! I must not tell her about this. But then, she doesn't love to walk around in shades like those either, which are way cute.

  10. You in trouble girl. He he he

Moo convinced my mother to buy her a g-string for her birthday. Her SIXTH birthday. Oh and they were leopard print. My mother is not known for her sense.

  11. That picture is the bomb! She has mastered the look of utter disdain. It will come in handy.

  12. She is sooooo cute!! Just avoid the low cut jeans and the dipped to her navel shirts when she gets older. Its getting harder and harder to find girl clothes that aren't from the "Lil' Hooker" clothing line. Good luck when she's a teenager though because the next thing she's gonna want to accessorize with will be a Beamer...hehe.

  13. Hey, laugh now, she could wind up a presidential candidate.

And I think she looks more like Elle Woods. Think Harvard Law.

  14. Love her glasses--she is quite the fashionista. She will be giving styling tips to all the kids on the playground and end up with her own TV show.

  15. Way cute! Do you think she might be doing a presidential commercial soon?

  16. OMG she is so cute! There's too much going on in the eyes behind those glasses - I see more CEO of Prada.

  17. OMG VERY adorable. My baby is the same way - I have no IDEA where she gets it. *wink*

Our get up usually involves a tutu and her stuffed walleye & the purse with cell phone, old hotel key she calls her "money", etc.

  19. Every time I click here I sigh a deep sigh at the outrageously cool shoes in your header. Now this -- her future's so bright, she's got to wear shades!
